SUBMARINE SWEET - GREEK RECIPE

Quite popular in Greece, but i havent seen it in other countries. So i though it is time to share. It is sweet, thight, and the way to eat it, other than add it to other sweet recipes, is by taking a table spoon of it, a glass of freezing water, and just put it in. yummie...especially in those hot, unbearably hot summer days!

YOU WILL NEED:
  1. 125 grams of milk
  2. 125 grams or cream
  3. 500 grams sugar
  4. 50 grams glycoze
  5. 5-6 drops of mastic oil
HOW TO MAKE IT:
  1. Add all the ingredients except the mastic oil into a pan, and put it to boil on low temperature.
  2. Stir from time to time untill it reaches 116oC. better provide urself with a cooking thermometer for that.
  3. when done, take it out on a solid surface and let it get cool without mixing it. best temperature to reach is 35oC.
  4. take it into the mixer bowl, add the mastic oil and mix gently until the cream becomes tight n soft.

TIPS
  1. if you cannot find mascit oil, use any other. vanilla is perfect too!!
