YOU WILL NEED:
- 250 ml milk
- 250 ml milk cream
- 80 grams sugar
- one vanilla bean
- 1 egg
- 3 egg yolks
- 20 grams corn flour
- a pinch of salt
HOW TO MAKE IT:
- place the milk the creme and the vanilla bean into a pan on medium fire
- whip in a bowl the egg the yolks the sugar and the salt
- add gradually the flour and the corn flour and mix well
- add to the mixture the milk before it boils and stir very well
- place back into the pan put again of the stove and keep stirring for 5 - 6 minutes
- when ready, place a membrane on top to avoid a crust to be created and keep it out untill it reaches room temperature..
